These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website (www.williamsonhardware.co.uk). By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting.

The entire contents of the site and any data associated with it are the property of S&W Williamson & Son (Hardware) Limited. No party is permitted to duplicate wholly or in part, any aspect of this data.
S&W Williamson & Son (Hardware) Limited may be referred to as ‘Williamsons’, ‘Williamson Hardware’, ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’.
By using our site you agree that e-mail is an acceptable form of long distance communication.
We do not accept any responsibility for any loss of earnings, life, damage to property or personal injury as a result of dealings with us.
Orders can be placed online. We accept payment by Visa, Delta, Mastercard and Switch through our secure payment gateway operated by Globalpayments. We also accept payment by Paypal.
We will not pass on any information that you give us to any third party.
When placing an order you must provide us with the correct billing address, delivery address and telephone number as well as the address and telephone number your credit card issuer has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you once the order has been placed. It is your responsibility to check that the particulars contained within that e-mail are correct. S&W Williamson & Son (Hardware) Limited cannot be held responsible for erroneous information entered when you place your order.
Should any of your personal details change, it is your responsibility to contact us as soon as possible.
Once you have placed your order, you may cancel that order either by e-mailing or calling 01142661911 (when available). You will be refunded the value of your order minus any card processing charges incurred by us. This option is only valid before the goods are dispatched.
In the event of a pricing error on the site, we will contact you before the goods are dispatched. The new price payable will be given to you along with the option to either cancel or continue the sale at the revised price. If you wish to cancel, we will refund you the full value regardless of any card processing fees we have incurred. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil any orders where errors have occurred with either the description or the price of the goods. Our contract with you only begins when the goods are dispatched.
We cannot be held responsible for negligence, failures or omissions of telecommunications or service providers.
You must agree to any stated delivery charges before placing your order.
We aim to arrange shipment of all ‘in stock’ items within 24 hours of receiving your order. Some items may be unavailable and the current stock status is approximate. To check to ensure an item is definitely in stock it is recommended that you call us on 01142661911.
Delivery times are approximate and should not be relied upon. We cannot take any responsibility for late deliveries. This includes, but is not limited to delays resulting from acts of God, flood, fire or malicious damage.
Goods may be sent in instalments rather than as one package.
We will attempt to deliver your order to the delivery address stated on your order. If products are returned to us as undelivered either because of an incorrect address or because of customer failure to contact the courier company or collect the goods from the depot where requested, we shall refund the price of the products less postage costs incurred by us in sending the goods out plus any additional costs charged to us for return of the goods to us.
Alternatively, we will resend the goods if required when all delivery costs are met by you. This includes the full amount incurred by the goods being returned to us as well as the cost of re-delivery. Any special offer delivery rates that were applied to the original purchase will not be applied to redelivered goods.
Any delivery prices advertised on our website are available for UK mainland delivery only. Prices for other areas are available on request. We reserve the right to refuse to deliver goods to areas that we deem high risk.
Some orders may be subjected to customs duties and taxes. We are not responsible for these charges and do not have a duty to inform you of any such charges. It is advised that you contact your local authorities prior to ordering goods from our site.
Cross border packages may be subject to inspection and opening. We cannot be held responsible for any damages or loss as a result of this.
Please allow up to 28 days for delivery on all orders placed through this site.
All of the returns procedures listed below are subject to you notifying us by telephone on 01142661911 or by e-mail to email@example.com prior to returning the item:
You have a period of 7 days, starting on the day you receive the goods, during which you may return an item for any reason. We will not be held responsible for the method of postage used to return the goods, nor the payment of the transit of the goods back to us except in the case of goods being proven to be faulty or due to an error on our part. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable service to return any items, defective or otherwise.
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item is not in a resalable condition. All returns are subject to the goods being complete, unused and in a resalable condition. This includes packaging. All refunds are subject to inspection of the goods once they are returned to us.
If you return an item because of an error on our part or it is proven to be faulty, we will refund your costs in returning it to us. Any item returned as a result of an error on our part must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
Where goods are proven to be faulty, we will endeavour to replace the defective goods as soon as possible. If this isn’t possible we will issue a full refund for the cost of the item and postage costs incurred. If we are not satisfied that the goods are faulty, they will be returned to you upon payment of postage costs by you.
We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred during communication with us whether that be via telephone, e-mail or otherwise.

These terms and conditions supersede any other conditions, understandings or representations communicated via e-mail, verbally or otherwise.
If any part of these terms and conditions are found to be inaccurate or invalid the remainder of the document remains unaffected.
All sales are deemed to have been completed in the UK and are subject to the laws of that region.
None of our terms and conditions affect your statutory rights.
