These ceramic baking beans help to prevent blistering and shrinkage during baking. They are totally heat resistant and 100% Reusable. They conduct heat for even pastry baking. Simply prick the unbaked pastry case with a fork, cover with baking paper then fill with a layer of Tala baking beans. Pack the beans against the sides as this is where shrinkage is most likely to occur. After baking and when beans have cooled, remove and hand wash in soapy water. Dry and return beans to handy storage container. Contents cover up to 32cm / 13" flan tin.
